I am a graduate of Truman State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a Masters in Elementary Education. When I'm not preparing science lessons, I enjoy crafting, tap dancing and listening to music.
I am super excited about the upcoming 2019-2020 school year and hope that you are too!

Online Learning Expectations

Hey Gryphons!
Welcome to 6th grade Science Online!

Review the expectations and procedures for online learning below.

1. All assignments and instructions will be uploaded to the Google Classroom Page by Monday, 9am.
2. Students may work ahead, making sure that all assignments are completed by Thursday, 3pm.
3. Lessons should be completed in order to prohibit gaps in comprehension of content.
4. Assessments will be given weekly on Friday via Study Island. These will be activated Thursday at 3pm and deactivated by Friday 3pm.
5. Students, parents and guardians may cross-reference all due dates on Mrs. Ricketts's Google Classroom.
6. Grades will be updated weekly in Powerschool.
7. Communication for questions and assistance with assignments can be done using the following platforms: Class Dojo, Remind App, and email. Messages received after 6pm should expect a response the following school day.
