MATH STANDARDS

FIRST QUARTER

I can use strategies to solve addition word problems

I can use strategies to solve subtraction word problems

I can fluently add with 20 using mental strategies

I can fluently subtract with 20 using mental strategies

I can explain and demonstrate the use of ones, tens, hundreds

I can count within 1000; by 1's, 10's, 100's

I can read and write numbers to 1000 in different ways.

I can use strategies to add numbers within 1000 and regroup

I can use strategies to subtract numbers within 1000 and borrow

I can compare 3-digit numbers

SECOND QUARTER

THIRD QUARTER

FOURTH QUARTER

I can determine whether a group (up to 20) has an odd or even number and write an equation

I can create arrays with equal groups of objects (to gain understanding of multiplication

I can represent whole numbers as lengths from 0 and whole number sums and differences on a number line

I can tell and write time within 5 minutes.

 

I can generate measurement data by measuring lengths of objects and create a line plot with the data

I can draw a graph to represent data.

I can draw and recognize shapes (quadrilateral, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, and cube) by their number of angles or faces.

I can partition a rectangle into rows and colums and count to find total number (area)

ELA STANDARDS

I can identify nouns, plural nouns, proper

nouns, and pronouns. (1st quarter)

I can identify and name the past, present, future, and irregular tense of verbs. (2nd quarter)
