Ms. Bideau's October Newsletter
Plain Pumpkin.png
Hello Parents,
Welcome Fall! This October we will be working on beginning to pinch out words using the beginning sound, middle sound, and ending sound. We will start making short CVC words such as cat, hat, bat. We will continue to work on our sight words from September and October. We will continue to work on using our sight words to write a sentence under our picture in writer's workshop. We will be learning about shapes and starting to differentiate numbers this month in math.

We have our first field trip coming up on October 26th! We will be going to Faulkner's pumpkin patch! Please remember to send in the permission slips so that your child can attend. If you would like to be a chaperone please send in 8$ prior to or on October 12th. We would love for you to come!

Just a reminder as it is getting colder please write your child's name on her sweaters and jackets.

If your child's first name begins with  F-J you are responsible for bringing in a snack for the class. Please no nuts!

Parent teacher conferences:
Parent teacher conferences will be on October 19th from 9am-5pm. I will be sending home a sign up sheet for times on these days and during the week before. I am looking forward to talking to you about your student's progress this year!

Thank you!
