Read the Lower School Letter to Parents for important information on virtual learning! -- Updated 09/14/2020

03/23/2020 University Academy Families,

 

Welcome to our first day of virtual learning! Teachers are doing their very best to provide virtual education to all students during the time period of mandatory school closure via assignments or projects.  We have received many questions about how grades will be affected during this time. 

 

After meeting as a K-12 administrative team, and with the support of our Superintendents and Board, we have determined that no student grades will be lowered from the status of March 12, 2020, which was the last day of school prior to closure. All assignments from March 13th and on will be offered as opportunities to improve grades.

 

As you may already know, UA will be offering virtual instruction until at least April 24th. At this time, if, how, and when we will be administering End of Year benchmarks is being discussed by administration.  We will send more information once it has been decided upon. Please do not hesitate to contact your administrator with any questions you may have. Stay safe everyone.
