Jackie DiPasquale

Hello UA family --

I am Jackie DiPasquale (Mrs. D) and I teach Advanced Studies, which is a 3-hour per grade level pull-out class to provide enrichment for students who would benefit from extra challenges above and beyond the regular curriculum.

I have two Master's degrees -- Energy and Environmental Policy from Washington University and Education from Wilmington University in Delaware. I have worked for the MO Department of Natural Resources, have taught graduate and undergraduate classes, run a home daycare, been a 3-5 elementary teacher for many years, and am also a sign language interpreter for deaf people on the side. This is my fourth year at UA and I love it here!

I care deeply about the environment and see almost everything through that lens.

This school year, 2019-2020, we will be gathering background information to understand what is happening on many levels as our Earth progresses through its changing climate. Students will need to be adaptable and creative problem solvers as adults, so that is our focus for the year.

Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts to share:

I look forward to working with you and your young scholar.  :)
