Summer Camp

Friends of University Academy sponsors students every year to attend camp in either Minnesota or Colorado. It's a great opportunity for students to meet people from other parts of the country and the world for two or four weeks! 

In order for camp to become a reality, several events have to take place:

1. Parent Information Night: October 30th from 4:30-5:30 pm (Parent/Teacher Conference Night). This is mandatory but if you cannot make it, then you will need to set up an appointment with Kristin Moats. At U.A. in the Mayerberg room. 

2. Camp Applications to selected camp turned in to Ms. Engler by Tuesday, November 31st, 2018. NO EXCEPTIONS

3. Student Application to Friends of U.A. (with Parent and Teacher Signature): Due Tuesday, November 21st. NO EXCEPTIONS

4. Volunteer/Service Hours: Total of 10 hours of service outside school before camp applications are turned in on Monday, March 5th.

5. Invitations to Camp will be announced on Tuesday, March 16th at Parent/Teacher Conferences. Invitations will be available for pick up at Parent/Teacher Conferences. 

6. Deposits and plane information turned in to Ms. Engler by Friday, March 30th! If you have a financial situation, please contact Kristian Moats or Jenna Engler.

7. Last Camp Meeting before Departure: Monday, April 30th 2018 from 5-6 pm. At University Academy in the Mayerberg.
